One hundred policy statements, identical everywhere on earth, scored against the parties that actually contest elections in your country.

The arithmetic is published. Every party position was read and placed by hand from a published platform, and we will defend any of them against a source. Countries are added one at a time, as we work through their parties.

Five axes

What this is

  • A measurement of your stated positions on a hundred specific policy questions.
  • A comparison against parties that actually stand for election where you live.
  • A method you can read before you answer anything, and check afterwards.

What this is not

  • A recommendation. The survey does not tell you who to vote for, and no result is better than another.
  • A personality test. It measures positions, not character or identity.
  • A prediction. It describes where you sit now, not how you will vote.

    You answer each statement from strongly disagree to strongly agree, or leave it blank.

  2. 02

    Every party in your country holds a coded position on the same scale. Agreement on one statement is the distance between the two, turned into a proportion.

  3. 03

    Those agreements are averaged across everything you answered. Anything you leave blank drops out of both sides.

  4. 04

    You get a ranked party match, a position on five axes, and a breakdown across ten policy areas.

The hundred statements never change between countries, so your five axis scores are comparable with someone else's on the other side of the world.
